Welcome to the Religious Studies Resource Centre

The Nottingham Bluecoat School is home to the Resource Centre, which has the largest collection of Multi Faith resources in Nottinghamshire, probably in the East Midlands. We are located at Nottingham Bluecoat School Aspley Lane Campus. There are over 4000 items here, which are available on loan - Artefacts, Books, Posters, Videos, CDs and some DVDs. Anyone can view these and members can place loan orders here online Loans can be collected from and returned to the reception at Aspley Lane Campus .

We are constantly developing our collection of artefacts and other items so it is always worth revisiting our web-site to view new stock as it comes in and we update the catalogue.

Visits to the Centre are welcome, but must be by prior arrangement, as the facility is not always staffed.

As a multi – faith resource we have worked closely with Nottingham Inter Faith Council since 2001. They have seconded their Development Officer for one day a week, to assist with the running of the Centre and it’s future development.

The Resource Room is non-profit-making and relies entirely on donations from organisations and individuals, in addition to some funding from Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council. Nottingham Inter Faith Council helps in running the Centre by providing some staffing time.
